Fully Funded PhD and MSc Opportunities in Ecology and Evolution of Plant-Insect Interactions: Overview

The Goldar Lab, based in the School of Biological Sciences at Illinois State University (ISU), invites applications for fully funded PhD and MSc positions starting Spring, Summer, or Fall 2026. The lab focuses on the ecology and evolution of plant-insect interactions, particularly how chemical ecology, community ecology, coevolution, geographical variation, and global change influence species interactions. Graduate students in the lab will engage in hypothesis-driven, experimental, and quantitative research, working on cutting-edge ecological and evolutionary questions. Applicants with strong motivation and a desire to learn field, lab, and statistical skills are encouraged to apply.
