Fully Funded University of Melbourne Computing and Information Systems PhD Scholarship 2025 Overview
The University of Melbourne offers the Computing and Information Systems PhD Scholarship to outstanding graduates of its Master of Computer Science program. This scholarship supports students commencing the Doctor of Philosophy – Engineering and Information Technology in Computing and Information Systems. It covers full tuition and provides a generous stipend.

To be eligible, applicants must:

Have completed a Master of Computer Science at the University of Melbourne

Apply and meet the admission requirements for the PhD in Engineering and IT (Computing and Information Systems)

Be a domestic or international student applying for future graduate research study

Full tuition fee remission

Top-up stipend of AUD $20,000 per year (paid fortnightly)

Maximum funding of up to AUD $70,000

Duration: Up to 3.5 years
