To be eligible for the Goldsmiths Palestinian Scholarship, applicants must:

Be Palestinian, with priority given to residents of the West Bank, Gaza, or Palestinian refugee camps.

Be currently residing in Palestine or hold Palestinian travel documents.

Require a UK Student Visa to study in the United Kingdom.

Apply and hold an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught Master’s degree at Goldsmiths for 2026 entry.

Note: For two-year postgraduate courses, the scholarship covers only one year of study.

Priority is given to applicants who have not studied abroad or completed a university degree previously.
Benefits
Each successful applicant will receive:

Living allowance of £19,550 for the duration of study.

Selection Process
The selection is highly competitive and carried out in three stages:

Initial screening by eligibility criteria (conducted by the Scholarships Coordinator).

Shortlisting based on academic merit and application responses.

Final evaluation by a panel consisting of representatives from Admissions, an academic department, and the Students’ Union (including a Palestinian student representative).
The panel evaluates both academic performance and personal motivation, focusing on the substance of answers rather than writing style, ensuring fairness for all applicants.
Important Notes

Applicants wishing to stay in Goldsmiths’ accommodation must apply separately and mention in the notes section that they are applying for the Palestinian Scholarship.
