Applicants must:

• Have completed 16 years of education in their home country (or contact TCU if not)

• Be within two years of obtaining their bachelor’s degree

• Belong to the top 10% of students at a top 10% university in their home country

• Provide a recommendation letter from the president of their university (or consult TCU if not feasible)

• Be academically and personally outstanding

• Plan to enroll in a TCU Master’s program and continue to a Doctoral course

• Not be a recipient of any other scholarships

• Have fluent Japanese proficiency (only for the Cooperative Major in Nuclear Energy)
