SOFTGAMES is looking for a talented and passionate 2D Games Animator to bring life and excitement to our Match-3 core gameplay, characters, and environments. As part of our fully remote team, you will work closely with designers, artists, and developers to create engaging and expressive animations that align with our game’s vision.

This is a REMOTE position.

**Qualified applicants will be expected to complete a graphics test.

Your role

• Animate high-quality 2D elements, including characters, environments, and core gameplay features for our Match-3 games.

• Create eye-catching particles and special effects to enhance the world and storytelling.

• Collaborate with design and art teams to seamlessly integrate animations into gameplay.

• Adapt animations to fit various styles while maintaining consistency with the game’s art direction.

• Optimize animations for performance without sacrificing quality and fluidity.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creatively to project development.

• Implement and refine animations based on feedback from the team.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques for 2D animation.

Your profile

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator in the gaming industry (portfolio or demo reel required).

• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Spine, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, balance, etc.).

• Ability to adapt to different animation styles, from cartoony to realistic.

• Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
