Brand Representative/Front Desk Officer at Accion Microfinance Bank

Job Objective:
The person for this position will be responsible for information dissemination and feedback internally as well as promoting and safeguarding the internal communications of Accion Microfinance Bank. The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing on an ongoing basis an internal communications strategy that meets organizational objectives and promoting and safeguarding the internal communications of Accion Microfinance Bank, as well as the organization and management of key/sensitive events.

Job Summary:
To support the delivery of the organization’s internal communications strategy. To strategically deliver key communications. To take lead responsibility for the planning and implementation of a range of internal events.

Job Description:
Areas of Responsibility

• Drive activities targeted at improving internal communications and brand loyalty
• Develop and execute internal communications strategies in conjunction with head of marketing communications
• Devising creative ways to convey messages to keep staff up to date with important news and to share information.
• Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums/ content such as intranet, comms. email, etc.
• Drive and execute all internal engagements- webinars, meetings, millennials, etc.
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization
• Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
• Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation
• Encouraging two-way and multi-way communication through, for example, surveys, suggestion schemes, workshops and social networking tools.
• Providing advice to employees regarding Accion MfB’s branding and identity.
• Working with colleagues across the bank to contribute to specific projects, especially employee engagement work.
• To advocate the critical business importance of internal communication and support the consistent use of the brand
• Write and distribute content to promote an organization’s brand, activities or products.
