Overview:

We are hiring an Accountant Intern for our client, a leading t-shirt factory in, Lagos. This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual eager to kickstart a career in accounting. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to support day-to-day financial operations and gain valuable hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in recording and maintaining financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Support the reconciliation of bank statements and financial records.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
Provide support during audits and preparation of financial reports.
Ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures.
Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must reside in or around Ketu for ease of commute to Yaba.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
