Job Title: Automation Engineer

Work Experience: 3 -6 Years

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

About the role You will work closely Work with web automation using Python and selenium Developers have a choice of Intellij or VS Code for their daily work and it is critical for them to have a working and performant IDE for them to be productive.
This role is based in Bangalore, HYD India.
What you’ll do: Work closely with the Backend IDE team to identify major backend developers’ workflow.
Work with web automation using Python and selenium Validate each new IDE release to ensure performance and features are working as expected (Optional) Automate certain test steps to speed up the validation process.
Experience in creating automated tests Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
Ability to write tests in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience working with databases (e.g., SQL)
Ability to analyze and interpret test results
Teamwork skills and communication with developers
Higher technical education or related English language proficiency enabling reading technical documentation
What you’ll need: 3+ years of industry experience Familiar with Java and/or Go Python and selenium Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points if (optional): Have worked with Python and selenium
