Back End Developer

As a pioneering and rapidly growing financial technology firm, we are currently launching one of our flagship products. We have plans to launch globally on our roadmap in the medium term.

Our aim is to establish ourselves as a global leader in Remittance Financial Technology platform technology. We have an exciting opportunity for a Back-end Developer to join our team.

The primary focus will be building the ‘Back-end side’ of our product, working alongside Front-end developers to create a comprehensive digital platform. An expert in the domain and able to develop frontend systems with a high degree of accuracy, you will consistently develop code that is aligned with the overall vision to ensure the highest quality development is always achieved and it creates a great user experience. You will have excellent knowledge of the DevOps process and can work with large and complex codebases to ensure our product is leading edge.

Proficiency with serverless and microservices architecture is essenticl. Proficiency in NestJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, GCP, AWS and SAAS is essential ensuring code is designed that is aligned with the overall service architecture. Skilled at optimising applications for maximum speed and efficiency, able to use systematic debugging to diagnose any issues and has full understanding of the testing pyramid. Excellent communication skills and proactively shares information with the team. Confident working independently and holds themselves accountable for decision and outcomes.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the following technologies:

· JavaScript Framework (preferred) · Microservices and Serverless (functions, Lambdas, etc).

· NodeJS · Redis · Kubernetes / Docker · Redux State Management · Codeception/ Karma Unit Tests · GCP and AWS · Restful APIs · Jira, Git.
