Backend Developer at Avant Tech, Lagos, Nigeria

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. If you’re passionate about building scalable systems and contributing to real-world products, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems and APIs
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver product features
• Manage databases and ensure smooth data flow
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Backend/Software Developer
• Proficiency in Node.js
• Experience with MongoDB or MySQL
• Strong understanding of API integrations
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Problem-solver with an ownership mindset
• Reliable, proactive and collaborative attitude

Salary Range: ₦350,000 – ₦500,000 monthly
