This is a remote job position.

We are looking for a Senior  Backend Developer with experience in modern tools and frameworks, capable of developing applications from scratch and deploying them in the cloud. This profile has a clear understanding of security and applies it to all of their services. They have the support of the team and can lead the investigation and resolution of complex problems, knowing when to ask for help.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance applications by writing reusable, efficient and testable code.
• Maintain and develop all server components.
• Ensure optimal performance of backend services and rapid response to frontend requests.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and architects to integrate elements.
• Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures and storage solutions.
• Perform diagnostic tests, repair defects, and provide technical support.
• Document Node.js development processes , including database schemas and reporting.
• Recommend and implement improvements in processes and technologies.
• Stay informed about development progress with Node.js.

Requirements

• Experience in applying best practices and writing clean code .
• At least 4+ years of experience working with server-side frameworks, languages, and DevOps technologies, with a focus on Node.js
• Experience with GraphQL and Federated GraphQL (Apollo) .
• Experience working on command line in Linux , Windows or Mac .
• Advanced knowledge of web stacks, libraries and frameworks.
• Ability to develop prototypes and put them into production.
• Proven experience in at least one large-scale project.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes .
• Knowledge of Concourse and CircleCI .
• Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB .
• Familiarity with AWS .
• Familiarity with Docker .
• Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, CommerceCloud , and Hybris .
