Job Title: Billing Officer
As the Billing Officer working with all stakeholders, you are responsible for overseeing the tasks of sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure that each account is paid on time and in full.
Keeping track of how much is owed to the company and by whom with the ability to manage numerous clients at once
- Accurately manage all incoming payments and following up on outstanding payments from clients
- Send invoices and account updates to clients
- Keep an accurate record of clients’ accounts and outstanding balances
- Validate debit accounts to ensure credibility of payments
- Securely handle clients’ data and payment information
- Update accounts receivables database with new accounts or missed payments
- Ensure all clients remain informed of their outstanding debts and payment deadlines
- Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related courses
- Previous Experience as Billing Officer is required
