Job Title: Business Development Executive
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Institutional Sales team in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our foreign exchange services. This role requires a deep understanding of the FX market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
What you’ll be doing:
Business Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the foreign exchange market.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain high-value clients.
- Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients.
- Understand clients’ currency exchange needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and account management.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Monitor trends and developments in the global and Nigerian FX markets.
- Provide insights and updates on market movements to clients.
- Identify opportunities to improve the company’s services and offerings.
Sales and Marketing:
- Promote the company’s foreign exchange products and services through presentations, pitches, and networking events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and materials to attract potential clients.
- Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions to build brand awareness.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all client transactions adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Work closely with the compliance team to minimize risk and ensure transparency.
What You Need to Have
- A Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role (preferably in the financial or FX sector).
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian foreign exchange market and financial regulations.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
