Business Development Lead

We are seeking a Business Development Lead to take on the challenge of building meaningful relationships with high impact, Africa-focused organisations, developing a deep understanding of their talent challenges, and selling talent services to meet their needs. As an Ambassador of Movemeback, you will generate and nurture leads, to build long term organisational
relationships. With the ultimate goal of meeting sales targets, you will help organisations build a clear understanding of our service offering, sell existing talent services (e.g. executive search and recruitment), whilst working in a consultative manner to tailor bespoke solutions to meet organisational needs (as they pertain to accessing and engaging talent).
Your responsibilities for this role will include:Â
- Demonstrate a strategic approach to identify, target and develop new organisational relationships, through 1:1 engagement, partnerships, event participation, initiatives, and more
- Nurture relationships with decision makers at hiring organisations, develop an understanding of their talent challenges, budget and needs, and convert leads into sales opportunities
- Develop customised solutions and prepare proposals to build confidence around our knowledge, expertise, and overall process, and ultimately secure new engagements
- Close sales opportunities by proposing relevant service offerings, structuring pricing, negotiating, following up and chasing on conversations (where appropriate) and agreeing final terms with hiring organisations
- Work closely with the Talent team (responsible for executing talent engagements) to ensure a seamless transition. Inform the Talent team of the sales pipeline, onboard them onto new engagements, ensure key information (e.g. requirements, expectations, concerns) has been has communicated, and stay connected to identify opportunities for further engagement
- Report on sales forecasts and performance to Movemeback Senior Leadership

- You have relevant experience – e.g. 4+ years of experience in a complex or fast moving business environment, with an emphasis on business development or solution selling
