I want to start with what makes this job posting super unique. My business isn’t some boring online SEO or Marketing agency. No! I’m the founder of a world-famous online business where I help Airbnb hosts make more money. Ok, not THAT famous, but I did write the best-selling book for Airbnb hosts titled “Optimize YOUR Airbnb” in 2018.

OptimizeMyBnb.com LLC was founded in 2017 about a year after I was fired from Airbnb (yes, Airbnb the company). No joke. Since then, I’ve become the best in the world at Airbnb…ahem…an Airbnb Superhost, started a remote Airbnb property management business, and live in Airbnbs as a guest (almost 2,000 nights).

I’m looking for a Virtual / Business Operations Assistant to join my small team. You will be responsible for a variety of routine and project-based tasks for both my online business (OptimizeMyAirbnb) and my online personal brand (Dannybooboo). Think of this position as the swiss army knife of jobs. You will be responsible for understanding the overall business, knowing how every process works, using all business tools so that….you can train future employees on those tasks that you don’t like to do in the future when we hire more.
Essentially, I’m just looking for a rock-star, home-run hitter, A-player (“RSHRHAP”) to work side-by-side with me (I’m Danny, by the way – hello) to continue being the best in the world at Airbnb. I also have some big plans to increase the success and even grow the business this year, but we can talk about that in the interview. But really, I’m looking for a partner whose feedback will be valued and essential. A creative thinker.
If you’re looking for a stable job, well look no further. I plan to run this business for many, many years to come. (It’s pretty cool to have a loyal, global community of fans!) But stable doesn’t mean “easy”. You will be pushed, stretched, and challenged like never before. You will learn a variety of new tools. You WILL accomplish things you’ve not thought possible. Your brain will ache from growth just as your joints ached during the teenage years’ growth spurt. Don’t fret. The idea is that you will elevate into a superhuman like me (humbleness is not required to apply).

Job Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management (creating a content calendar, posting on various platforms, interacting with the community, growth strategies)
- Fulfilling online customer orders
- Engaging with the community on forums, Facebook groups, etc.
- Online detailed research
- Website chat and email management
- Business strategy brainstorming
- Learn and optimize business tools (I want you to manage and optimize the various business tools like website popups, etc.)
- Various projects (I want to get a phone application going)

The perfect “RSHRHAP” will have..
- 1+ years working a remote job
- 2+ years working as a virtual assistant
- English fluency (Spanish fluency a plus)
- An active Airbnb host or guest account
- Self-motivation (this is not a job where you simply follow instructions and are micro-managed)
- Organization skills up the wazoo
- Superb attention to detail
- A burning desire to learn (Emphasis: don’t think of this as an easy job. Changing the world ain’t easy!)
- Team management skills (you’ll be coordinating with Airbnb hosts, video editors, designers, developers, etc.)
