Key Responsibilities

Registers sales on a cash register by recording orders, itemizing, and totalling customers’ purchases.

Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.

Resolves customer issues and answers questions.

Bag orders/purchases after payment

Processes return transactions.

Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, and operating a cash register.

Enter price changes by referring to price sheets.

Collects payments by accepting transfers, POS, or Cash from customers.

Verifies credit when transfers are made after purchase

Balances Cash Box by counting cash at beginning and end of work.

Provides pricing information.

Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures

Ensure that shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products

Display, arrange and rotate products in store

Maintain store shelves by removing dated and damaged products

Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake

Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience in similar role

Must have a National Diploma (ND)

Good verbal communication skills

Willingness to learn new skills

Passionate about customers and service delivery
