Job Title: Cashiers

We seek skilled and highly organized and customer-focused Hospital Cashiers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient payments, billing, and insurance claims, as well as providing excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately process patient payments at the designated payment areas

• Manage and process patient payments, including cash, credit cards and insurance payments by applying correct billing codes for each patient

• Issue detailed receipts for all transactions. All patients’ payments are to be recorded on the Electronic Medical Record System

• Reconcile daily transactions

• Prepare daily deposit slips for deposit

• Greet patients and provide information on payment options

• Address customers concern and address payment issues promptly

• Maintain patients account records and update billing information

• Where necessary, follow up on outstanding patients balances

• Assist with patient registration as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma Certificate in Accounting. Additional qualifications or related work experience will be an added advantage
