Wisdom Impact House is an NGO registered in Nigeria with the goal of empowering young people for future relevance.

We are searching for a communications assistant who will support all our communications across social media outlets, emails and our website.

Person Characteristics:
You are a self starter and lively personality. You are passionate about presenting ideas using multimedia. You desire to make a difference for the less privilege. You believe that the least you can do is to do a good job.

Your role will include:
1. Managing Social Media Accounts
2. Deploying marketing communications
3. Editing and updating website content
4. Graphics Design for Social Media, email marketing and website content.
5. Video Editing
6. Support development of communications strategy

Experience:
– Previous marketing experience is a plus
– Strong written and oral communication in English
– Experience with social media account management
– Good Hausa speaking skills is a plus

Education:
– Social Science or Arts degree with 2.1 class
– High School strong results in English Language and Literature/Maths/Economics/Government/Chemistry with relevant experience
– Relevant certification in social media marketing, copywriting or graphics design

Work Schedule:
This role is Based in Abuja and hybrid. You will have on-site meetings once a month. Other communications and work will be remote. The level of work is estimated at 2 days a week.

Remuneration
This is a volunteer role renumeration will be prorated over agreed work days and according to experience.
