Responsibilities
As a Community Support Worker your role and responsibilities are to provide a quality service, in line with the A.J. Northern Blitz Limited guidelines and policies and procedures. In simple terms, you would be required to provide a service by promoting independence through positive reassurance and communication strategies with the upmost adherence to dignity and respect to our service users, who expect a quality and most importantly a reliable service from the comfort of their own home.
As your role would be to deliver our services to our vulnerable service users within their home, therefore we put our trust in you to provide a confidential, reliable, dignified, person-centred service, which are needs-led to meet the specific individual needs of the individual.
Daily duties and tasks will include but not limited to the provisions of requested personal care needs, medication administration, shopping or chaperoned services, interaction with health care professions and social care needs and enabling care and support services to all our service users from the comfort of their own home.
Qualifications
Desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
Care Certificate (must be the complete 15 standards)
Leve2 in Health & Social Care (Support Worker)
Attitude and Flexibility
Our service users expect a quality, reliable service. Therefore, we are seeking individuals who can demonstrate on having a positive attitude regardless of their own personal matters. An individual who can be flexible at the time of need and thrives over completing their delegated duties to the best of their abilities and to a high standard.
Communication Skills
Individual who can speak fluent English, and has a good level of read and writing skills.
Technology Skills
An individual who has a good knowledge and understanding on the use of digital systems in relation to Health & Social Care.
