Corporate Lawyer at THCO, Victoria Island, Lagos

We are seeking a motivated Corporate Lawyer with 1–2 years post-call experience, eager to build expertise in specialized areas of law. The successful candidate will play a key role in drafting and reviewing legal documents, advising clients, representing clients in negotiations, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents and agreements across petroleum, entertainment, property, and corporate law.
• Conduct legal research to support client positions and provide advisory services on rights and obligations.
• Represent clients in meetings, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
• Prepare periodic legal opinions and conduct legal audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Handle filings and compliance tasks via the CAC online portal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of LL.B, B.L, and NYSC certificates.
• 1–2 years post-call experience.
• Preference for candidates from ranked institutions (no specific schools required).
