The Role

As Head of Product you will play a critical role in shaping the development of the platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development, to define and execute the product roadmap and strategy. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the blockchain and crypto industry.

CPO Chief Product Responsibilities

* Product Strategy: You will develop a clear product strategy that creates differentiation and sustainable growth. You will gather input on the product strategy from all stakeholders and foster cross-functional alignment to deliver breakthrough growth. You will embrace data-driven decision making while also cultivating the insights and creativity needed to drive innovation in emerging and volatile markets.

You will need to understand the market and competitive landscape including Substrate / Polkadot, Cosmos SDK / Cosmos, Avax Subnets, Polygon Edge / Supernets, OP Stack / Superchain, etc. You will also be responsible for thought leadership, including presenting at conferences, writing content and blogs, raising awareness for the project through interviews and PR, and supporting ecosystem growth efforts as a subject matter expert.

* Roadmap Development & Project Management: You will own the product roadmap & product development. Working with internal stakeholders, you will prioritize features, enhancements, and releases. You will own the product development process, adopting industry best practices such as agile project management to improve release velocity and quality.

* Feature Definition: You will create detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications for the engineering team, ensuring a clear understanding of product goals and objectives.

* Research Users, Market, & Competition: You will work with cross-functional partners to conduct market research & competitive analysis. You will gather user feedback and product input from across the ecosystem in a structured manner to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.

* Product Launch: You will coordinate and, in collaboration with cross-functional partners, execute product launches. Go-to-market will be developed in advance and executed in close collaboration with marketing and sales.

* Data Analysis: You will develop and be accountable for product related OKRs & KPIs. You will analyze product performance to identify areas for improvement. You will deliver monthly reports on progress & insights and participate in quarterly business reviews and annual planning.

* Cross-Functional Leadership: You will lead engineering and design resources required for successful product development. You will collaborate with DevRel, Marketing, and other teams to ensure successful product development, regulatory compliance, launch, and ongoing support. You will participate in ongoing process improvement, including the development of new functional areas such as Product Marketing.

* Developer Centricity: You will guarantee that we build solutions with a well-defined user profile and value proposition. Where relevant, you will embrace developer-centric design. You will strive to make the products the easiest, most enjoyable, and most valuable in web3.
