Job Title: Creative Copywriter

About our Company:

LemFi (YC S21) is building the neobank for African diaspora in North America & Europe. We provide our users with a multi-currency account that allows them to hold, send, and receive money from Africa in any currency for their business and personal banking needs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative Copywriter to help communicate the brand’s values, products and proposition across our marketing and product channels.
You will write clear, engaging, concise copy for ads, emails, publications, and websites to inform our target audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work with design and marketing teams to ensure that the copy fits the needs of the project.
• Write clear and persuasive marketing copy with a distinct voice
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Write engaging blog posts, social media content, monthly newsletters and editorial features in line with the brand’s voice.
• Re-writing and updating information on the website and in company materials.

Requirements and Skills:

1. 3 years experience in a marketing or communications role
2. Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
3. Strong writing, grammatical, and proofreading skills
4. Ability to collaborate and work as a team
5. Solid editorial judgement
6. Experience covering niche topics or interests is an added advantage
7. Excellent time-management and organisational skills
8. Creativity
