Requirements

• A well-motivated and proactive person
• BSc. degree or Higher Diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any other Social Science-related courses with a minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience.
• Knowledge of statistics experience using statistical packages for analyzing data sets and data visualization (Excel, SPSS, SAS, STATA, GIS, Power BI, etc.) and database design and management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
• Proficient at queries, report writing, and presentation of findings.
• The position will be based in Akure with occasional field trip visits to project areas.
• Proficiency in GIS software, GPS equipment, and remote sensing technologies.
• Ability to accurately collect, record, and manage data, and ensure data quality and completeness.
• Ability to communicate technical information and data to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a changing and dynamic environment and adapt to new technologies and approaches.
• Basic knowledge and skills in general agriculture, especially cocoa farm management/agroforestry
• Experience with field data collection and GPS equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
