Digital Communications Associate at YDPay, Lagos, Nigeria

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes digital media, understands how to tell stories that resonate, and can manage multiple platforms with strategic intent. You will shape YDPAY’s brand voice online, craft engaging content across channels, and execute campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.) to grow engagement and brand visibility.
• Develop compelling written, visual, and video content that aligns with YDPAY’s tone and audience.
• Design and execute email campaigns and newsletters; segment audiences and personalize messaging using platforms such as Mailchimp, Brevo, or HubSpot.
• Support digital advertising efforts (Google Ads, Meta Ads), monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable insights.
• Manage online community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster active and positive interactions.
• Coordinate online activations: webinars, giveaways, influencer collaborations, or digital events that strengthen brand presence.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and compile reports to measure campaign success and inform strategy adjustments.
• Collaborate with business development and product teams to ensure marketing aligns with YDPAY’s strategic goals

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in social media marketing, digital communications, or content creation.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills with an eye for detail and tone.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and scheduling platforms like Buffer or Hootsuite.
• Familiarity with email marketing tools and CRM automation.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• A proactive, creative mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Bonus Skills

• Basic understanding of fintech, crypto, or emerging tech ecosystems.
• Foundational video editing or motion design skills.
• Experience with automation tools for digital marketing or content workflows.
