Job Title: Distribution Manager
Are you an experienced and dynamic professional with a passion for logistics and distribution? Join Vitafoam Nigeria, a leading manufacturer of polyurethane foam products, as a Distribution Manager in our Lagos or Kano office.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating the total flow of logistics process, both inbound and outbound
- Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to optimize product delivery.
- Manage the entire distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and fleet management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers, and transport partners.
- Monitor distribution performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on distribution operations and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations in Nigeria.
- Experience managing multi-location distribution networks is an advantage.
