We are actively looking to hire Executive Assistants to join our team. This is a rewarding long-term career opportunity to work alongside and provide high-level operational support to C-level leaders. You will support the C-level leader through the rapid pace of our high-growth organization, push things forward while anticipating needs, troubleshooting issues, and responding proactively and calmly under pressure. The role will require discretion, judgment, tact, poise, and the ability to prioritize, prepare correspondences and research highly confidential materials and issues. The person in this position will be required to interact with a wide range of clients and business partners and provide excellent customer service.

    **We will trust you to:**
  • Function as the gatekeeper, understanding the requirements of the executive, in order to prioritize issues according to urgency and to allocate time for scheduled events, meetings and travels.
  • Make high-level contacts of a sensitive nature, internally and externally requiring discretion and diplomacy.
  • Oversee and ensure the daily administrative operations run smoothly for the executive’s office. Handle the details of a variety of personal matters on behalf of the executive.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of efficient and effective systems for managing information, projects and communications to ensure accurate and timely responses.
  • Research compile and summarize issues, topics; provides background information, talking points and briefing materials for the executive. Brief executive on deadlines and the status of pending issues.
  • Organize ad hoc committees and meetings appointed by the executive on a broad range of issues. Capture and communicate meeting notes, decisions, and action items.
  • Prepare board/investors presentations and schedule the meetings
  • Maximize the executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating phone calls on their behalf.
  • Maintain calendars and schedule meetings using knowledge and good judgment of priorities.

 **You will succeed at this role if you have:**
  • Demonstrated experience working as an executive assistant supporting a C level leader in a start-up environment. Remote experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work through and troubleshoot issues that arise with a solution-oriented mentality
  • A high level of maintaining confidentiality and paying strong attention to details
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.Superior listening, organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, skillfully manage multiple tasks with time sensitivity and pivot per business needs
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Expertise in technical productivity tools such as G-Suite, PowerPoint, MS Suite. Experience with Basecamp is a plus
  • Ability to suggest more efficient ways to increase productivity and troubleshoot malfunctions
  • Initiative, work efficiently and effectively

This is a full-time position.

Must I live in Nigeria to apply?

No. We are a 100% remote company and currently have teammates based in Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, the US, and Poland. Although we have a bias towards people based in Africa, we welcome teammates from across the world.

What is work/life balance like?

Work generally begins at 9 am and ends at 5 pm WAT. However, these hours are not set in stone and everyone can choose when to start/end work as long as they communicate effectively and get their work done.
