Job Title: Financial Accountant
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll ensure the accuracy of financial data, support key accounting functions, and contribute to month-end close processes and financial reporting. You’ll optimize workflows through automation and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented accountant with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, remote setting. What You’ll Do
- Assist with preparing quarterly financial statements and analysis of monthly financial statements (P&L/ Balance Sheet/ Statement of Cash Flows)
- Manage the accounts payable process, including communication with vendors and ensuring invoices are coded properly in the GL and recording accruals
- Play an integral part in the month end close process, including preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as well as analyzing monthly financial statement trends
- Record prepaid expenses, fixed and intangible assets, and other assets/ liabilities
- Perform various treasury duties including reconciling cash and preparing vendor payments
- Assist in preparation of documentation for the year-end audit and statutory audits
- Collaborate with HR to ensure proper employee classification and benefits allocation
- Comprehensive understanding of data completeness to ensure a positive downstream impact and momentum
- Proactively initiate cross-functional collaboration to reach the company’s and department’s objectives
- Assist with the transformation and automation around procure to pay process to ensure data accuracy, world class experience, while maintaining controls
- Various Ad-Hoc projects based on the Company’s needs

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Suite. (index/ match, vlookup, hlookups, etc.)
- Self-starter with a positive attitude, great work ethic, and great team player.
- Strong data and analytics skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to details.
- Strong organization and highly accountable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Big 4 Accounting experience
- CPA is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
