Food Procurement Manager

The Food Procurement Manager answers the question, “how can I get more quality produce while spending less?” and then makes it happen everyday on time. You will own:

1. Food Vendor Management
   1. Find and maintain relationships with wholesale suppliers
   2. Know the daily pulse of market price on each ingredient
   3. Immediately switch vendors the moment a vendor’s price is unfair or the vendor performs below expectations.
2. Daily Procurement
   1. Create daily procurement requests based on customer orders, recipes, and inventory
      1. Ensure the team has all the ingredients they need to produce meals daily, and on time.
   2. Send and track purchase orders and invoices
   3. Track and manage vendor performance based on quality, quantity, and timeliness of procurement
3. Food Procurement Optimization
   1. Daily identify cost drivers and reduce their impact
   2. Measure usage/wastage of prepped food produce
   3. Calibrate procurement formulas based on produce usage in prep
      1. You will have an analyst to help you with this responsibility
