Frappe/ERPNext Developer

About the job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Frappe/ERPNext-based solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with our clients and team members to understand their business requirements and provide effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop appropriate solutions.
• Develop and customize Frappe/ERPNext applications to meet client requirements and enhance existing functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom modules, workflows, reports, and integrations within the Frappe/ERPNext framework.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Frappe/ERPNext applications to ensure quality and identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients and team members during the implementation, customization, and post-implementation phases.
• Stay up to date with the latest Frappe/ERPNext releases, features, and best practices to ensure optimal utilization of the framework and provide valuable insights to clients.
• Collaborate with other developers, consultants, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
• Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct training sessions or workshops for clients and end-users to promote effective utilization of Frappe/ERPNext applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies within the company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline is preferred.
• Strong experience in developing and customizing Frappe/ERPNext applications, including custom module development, workflow design, and report generation.
• Proficiency in Python programming language and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of ERP concepts, business processes, and system integration.
• Experience with MySQL or any other relational database management system.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role is preferred.
