Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Location: Fully Remote Global
Uptime.com, a leader in website monitoring solutions, is seeking an innovative and data-driven Growth Engineer to join our dynamic team.  We’re looking for a creative thinker who is passionate about growth, software engineering, and data analytics.
Job Overview:
As a Growth Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to use your technical and marketing skills to drive the expansion of our brand and customer base. You will be at the unique crossroads of engineering and marketing, utilizing a systematic and methodical approach to achieve growth. In this role, you will be involved in brainstorming, shaping, and executing growth experiments, optimizing product features, and creating internal tools to enhance user experiences and increase conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and overseeing software, processes, and content to drive growth.
- Implementing user acquisition strategies using SEO/PPC.
- Performing conversion optimization through A/B testing and onboarding procedures.
- Contributing to product enhancements and constructing internal tools to support growth.
- Engaging in frontend and backend development related to growth initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to inform growth strategies.
- Prioritizing and experimenting with ideas using frameworks such as RICE.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in frontend and backend development.
- Strong comprehension of business KPIs and growth metrics.
- Excellent communication abilities to articulate technical and product-related concepts clearly.
- Pragmatic thinker with a knack for making tactical decisions.
- Proficient in analytics software and methodologies, such as R, Python, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and SciPy.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and basic database management.
- Intermediate-level background in data analysis and query analysis.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Comfortable with rapid experimentation and iteration.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Prior experience in a SaaS environment as a full-stack engineer.
- Proficiency in GitHub, open-source tooling, and general scripting.
- Familiarity with marketing basics and growth hacking methodologies.
