Job Title: FX Trade Associate

About the role

The FX Trader is responsible for managing the FX margins and rates for our B2B Cross – Border Payments Trades. Responsible for positive positions and high net trade margins

The ideal candidate must bring a sound understanding and previous experience with Fintechs, treasury management, FX rates, and currency risk management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute and match large block trades within the market
  2. Developing and contributing OTC sales strategies then guiding and driving the team on how to approach those strategies
  3. Familiarity with deliverable FX market regulations and compliance (preferred)
  4. Knowledge of the foreign exchange markets and trading platforms (preferred)
  5. Providing internal stakeholders with daily market/pricing information.
  6. Working closely with the Sales teams or clients and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate trade capture, manage risks and deliver excellent client servicing.
  7. Booking of trades and ensuring accuracy of positions.
  8. Ensuring all trades are booked correctly and liaising with the sales team or clients to address any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  9. Reconciling present value of trades between the sales team and treasury middle office at the end of each day and accounting for all daily outstanding and unprocessed trades.
  10. Ensuring compliance with and enhancing control processes around trade booking, verification and reconciliation.
  11. Focus efforts to generate scalable, repeatable and predictable volume, net revenue and gross profit.
  12. Reporting: Analyze and present data to key internal stakeholders in order to inform impactful business decisions and help adapt tactics that drive profitable growth within the region.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of treasury management, FX rates, and currency risk management tools.
  • Track record of successfully scaling revenue and managing large-scale client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and sustainable growth.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
