Head of Business Development & Expansion at Ateru, Remote (Nigeria)

We’re looking for a senior business development leader to drive partnerships, open new markets, and manage government relations. This is a high-autonomy role with no team to manage. You will work independently, hit your numbers, and report directly to the COO.

What You’ll Do

  • Source and close partnership deals (bookmakers, affiliates, media, influencers)
  • Identify and execute expansion into new markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulators and government stakeholders
  • Meet monthly/quarterly deal value targets
  • Operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment

Requirements

  • 5–7 years experience in Nigeria’s gambling/gaming industry
  • Proven track record closing high-value partnerships
  • Existing relationships with industry players and regulators
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and self-management
  • Strong execution to meet deadlines without being chased

Compensation

  • ₦500,000 – ₦650,000 net monthly
  • No additional benefits or equity
