HR / Administrative Officer at Brands Optimal Limited, Lagos, Nigeria

We are seeking a talented HR / Admin. Officer to join our team.
As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department.
You’ll be responsible for and support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, compliance, and general administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, and scheduling interviews.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Provide support with Learning & Development.
• Provide support with the implementation of organizational policies.
• Champion employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives.
• Prepare HR-related reports and documentation.
• Oversee HR administration and general administration.

Requirements and Skills

• A B.Sc. in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Candidate must hold a 2:1 degree or higher.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR-related role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• A collaborative mindset and proactive attitude toward problem-solving and innovation.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• An HRM certification or similar is a plus.
