Job Title:  Information Technology (IT) audit & Compliance officer
Location: FCT, Abuja
Project focus: Internal Audit & Compliance

Solina Centre for International Development and Research (SCIDaR) is an Indigenous nonprofit institution that works to accelerate positive health, social, and economic reforms through high-quality program design and implementation, capacity building, implementation science research, and knowledge generation, as well as agenda-setting and stakeholder convening across human development sectors. Our work seeks to benefit primarily disadvantaged and under-served populations. We implement transformation programs in Nigeria and are currently expanding our footprint to several West and Central African countries. Role summary

The IT audit & Compliance officer will manage the execution of the audit and compliance functions, communicate with the internal audit lead and management on findings, monitor, and report the progress of compliance of staff and departments.

Role responsibilities

Education & Experience
i. Proven experience (2-5 years) in IT auditing, risk management, or IT governance
ii. Outstanding record of academic achievement with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper degree in Accounting, Finance, and any other related field.
iii. Professional certifications such as (ACCA, ACA, CISA, and CISSP) are an added advantage
iv. Demonstrated strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and thought leadership abilities;
v. Advanced computer usage skills with proficiency in Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
vi. Strong understanding of IT frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001) and compliance regulations (e.g. GDPR)
vii. Demonstrated aptitude for analytics;
