Junior QA Engineer at Softermii, Remote

The project aims to create an innovative social casino that redefines igaming while upholding strong ethical standards and legal compliance. The platform utilizes virtual rewards instead of traditional gambling elements, providing players with credits and virtual coins to enhance their experience. This approach includes competitive tournaments, a diverse game selection, and integrated incentives. The user-centric design ensures an intuitive interface, highlighting the platform’s advantages and benefits. In essence, your project pioneers a new era of responsible and engaging gaming experiences.

The main product is the B2C product – a free-to-play social casino. It combine entertainment with a social aspect — events, bonuses, clubs.

Your responsibilities on the project will be:

GENERAL:

• Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across browsers, devices, and environments
• Testware Development: Develop test plans, test cases
• Testware Maintenance: Maintain test documentation actuality state in correlation to the state of product / development

Participate in test execution strategy development

• Non-functional testing: Participate / organize non-functional tests(performance, load, security etc.) on request
  User Experience Validation: Verify usability, accessibility, and UI consistency within the product
• Defect Management: Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects
• Proactive, close collaboration within the cross-functional team

SPECIAL for probation:

• Familiarize themselves with the team & processes
• Get into autonomy level enough for singlehanded QA responsibilities execution
• Demonstrate stable, high pro-active collaboration level within the team

You can be part of the following team: Project Manager, Product owner, QA,1 Frontend Tech Lead + 1 FS React/Node.js, 1 DevOps

Tools we use:

• Jira, Confluence, Git, Figma

Our requirements to you:

• 1+ years of commercial experience as a QA.
• QA Fundamentals: Strong understanding of QA role within Agile methodologies, test types, SDLC (STLC)
• CI/CD Awareness: Solid knowledge of QA role in CI/CD
• Testware Management: Experience with test case design, execution, and management tools
• Documentation & Reporting: Ability to create clear test documentation
• Defect Tracking: Proficiency in defect tracking and management systems
• Web App Testing: Experience in web app testing
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

It will be a plus if you have experience:

• Non-Functional Testing: Experience in performance testing and security basics
• Understanding of API testing tools
• Ability to script in at least one language
• QA work experience within a gambling (related) product
• Solid understanding of what gambling product is as a plus
