Junior Quantitative Analyst

We are looking for:

A dynamic Quantitative Analyst to work in collaboration with our engineers, data scientists and quantitative traders. Your mission will be to develop new systematic strategies, enhance current systematic strategies and develop our backtesting systems.

Background and experience

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Sciences or Statistics

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a leading market maker/prop shop/hedge fund/asset manager or an investment bank

Competences and personality

• A high degree of technical aptitude with programming skills in Python/C++/Rust/Java

• Knowledge of SQL

• Strong analytical capabilities

• Familiarity with financial markets and trading algorithms in order books

• Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills

Job description

• Developing and improving our current algorithmic strategies

• Collaborating with our data engineering and tech teams to improve data quality

• Developing and improving our backtesting engines

• Reviewing performance metrics and communicating post strategy analysis, based on market conditions and systems performance

• Helping to deliver continuous improvements on our trading infrastructure and models

• Ensuring market and research issues are properly documented

• Communicating regularly with trading and BI teams
