Responsibilities
- Employment law assistance and compliance.
- Work closely with the customer success team to provide daily advice on employment laws and regulations in order to answer clients’ queries.
- Draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks and any other document in order to be compliant with local employment laws.
- Provide counsel to local management and the Human Resources team on a broad range of employment issues including: recruiting; hiring; employee relations; discipline and terminations; European working time compliance (including shift working, overtime), internal investigations; leaves of absence; discrimination and harassment issues; global mobility issues; contingent worker issues; employee GDPR and privacy issues; compensation, benefits, bonus and equity awards; employment litigation; negotiated exits and settlements.
- In-House Development. Contribute to developing and implementing processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiation and processes.
- Help develop and maintain training materials, playbooks and guidelines.
Desired skills and competencies
- 2-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential), with a strong background in cross border employment law matters.
- Specialist knowledge of employment law.
- You will be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally.
- You will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You are fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
