Lithographer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lithographer to join our team. The Lithographer will be responsible for creating high-quality lithographic prints by operating and maintaining lithographic printing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in lithography and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain lithographic printing presses and related equipment.
Prepare printing plates and make necessary adjustments for color, registration, and quality.
Set up and adjust printing presses to achieve desired results.
Monitor the printing process to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed.
Inspect and maintain the condition of lithographic printing plates.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with printing equipment.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
Collaborate with clients or art directors to understand project requirements and specifications.
Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order new materials when needed.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

Minimum O’level certificate or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lithographer.
Proficient in operating lithographic printing equipment and related tools.
Strong understanding of color theory, image reproduction, and printing techniques.
Knowledge of different lithographic processes and printing materials.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality prints.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Familiarity with safety protocols in a printing environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
