Mobile Developer at Clive Alliance, Remote (Nigeria)

We’re expanding our Engineering Talent Bench — a curated pool of top-tier developers who can step into short-term or project-based roles across our ventures. As a Mobile Developer (Flutter) on the Clive Bench, you’ll help us build high-performance mobile experiences that integrate seamlessly with our backend systems, AI APIs, and payment infrastructures.

You’ll work with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver pixel-perfect, reliable, and scalable mobile applications — including solutions optimized for Android POS hardware and AI-driven experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter & Dart, optimized for Android POS hardware.
• Integrate mobile apps with OpenAI, Claude, and other open-source AI APIs to enable intelligent product features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend) to plan, develop, and deploy scalable mobile solutions.
• Handle secure data exchange via RESTful APIs, integrate with Firebase, and connect to AWS or Azure where required.
• Implement and manage state management tools such as Provider, Riverpod, GetX, or Stacked for scalable app architecture.
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and device compatibility — especially on Android POS terminals and embedded Android systems.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code using Git/GitHub, Android Studio, VS Code, or Xcode.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3+ years of experience developing production-ready Flutter apps using Dart.
• Proven experience building for or deploying to Android POS terminals or similar devices.
• Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, or other AI-assisted developer tools.
• Hands-on experience consuming AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Anthropic, etc.) in production environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and bug tracking with Git/GitHub.
• Integration experience with Firebase, AWS, Azure, or REST APIs.
• Solid grasp of mobile state management, clean architecture, and testing principles.

Bonus Points If You…

• Have shipped features powered by AI-generated code, smart summaries, or automated workflows.
• Have experience working with payment devices, embedded Android, or smart kiosk environments.
• Are familiar with cursor.dev, Anthropic APIs, or other AI tools that accelerate coding productivity.
• Thrive in agile, fast-paced startup environments and are comfortable working asynchronously.
