We are hiring a Mobile Engineer who is focused on designing, developing, and implementing software programs for smartphones

We will trust you to:

• • Design and build advanced app features for the iOS platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elaborate, design, and implement new features employing high-quality software design, code & processes.
  • Troubleshoot code for edge usability, reliability, and edge cases.
  • Identify and fix bugs; work on app performance.
  • Keep abreast with new technologies, estimate and implement them in order to make app development faster and easier.
  • Independently craft project solutions by applying solid Object-Oriented-Design principles.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

You will succeed at this role if you have:

• • UI and UX experience.
  • Experience with iOS frameworks.
  • Adept with benchmarking and modification
  • Familiar with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proficiency with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
  • Knowledgeable of clouds message API and push notifications
  • Expert in Swift programming

This is a full-time position.

When do you begin reviewing?

When should I expect to hear back from you?

You will hear back from us by Wednesday, January 19th 2021 at the very latest. If your application seems like a good match, a member of the team will be in touch for an initial phone screen. The next steps will depend on the role you are applying for but we aim to give final offers within 2 weeks from the initial phone screen.

Must I live in Nigeria to apply?

No. We are a 100% remote company and currently have teammates based in Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, the US, and Poland. Although we have a bias towards people based in Africa, we welcome teammates from across the world.

What is work/life balance like?

Work generally begins at 9 am and ends at 5 pm WAT. However, these hours are not set in stone and everyone can choose when to start/end work as long as they communicate effectively and get their work done.
