Mobile Security Engineer Manager at iFood, Remote (Global)

At iFood, we are on a constant mission to fuel the world’s future with secure, reliable, and scalable technology. We are seeking leadership for a highly specialized Mobile Security team, responsible for protecting our apps in a context of immense technical complexity.

This position is for you if you come from a mobile engineering background, have led teams or software factories, and possess practical knowledge of AppSec applied to mobile.

Your Daily Menu:

• Leading a Mobile Security team, ensuring focus, alignment, and organization in a highly specialized technical environment.
• To define technical direction and support security decisions for Android and iOS, connecting Mobile Engineering and AppSec.
• Guiding mobile security analyses and best practices (OWASP MASVS, data protection, secure architecture, hardening).
• To structure streamlined management processes, helping the team operate with clarity and efficiency without excessive bureaucracy.
• Define a technical roadmap for Mobile Security aligned with business risks and priorities.
• To promote safe development and technical standards for iFood’s mobile squads.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders by translating technical risks into clear and prioritizable actions.

Ingredients We Are Looking For:

• Solid experience in mobile development (Android and/or iOS) and technical or team leadership.
• Practical knowledge of mobile security and AppSec (MASVS, mobile secure coding, API security, secure build & deploy).
• Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and solve problems in highly complex environments.
• Ability to influence engineering and lead technical teams with autonomy and focus.
• Clear communication to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical areas.

To Enhance the Flavor:

• Concepts of reversing, hardening, anti-tampering, runtime protection, and safety automation.
• Experience with secure pipelines and mobile MAST/SAST integrations.
• Familiarity with mobile security analysis and testing tools (Frida, MobSF, Jadx, Xcode tools).
