Job Title: Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Networks: Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) for on-premises and cloud environments.
  
• Cloud Integration: Develop and manage network configurations within cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  
• Network Maintenance: Perform maintenance and upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  
• Monitor Performance: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability across on-premises and cloud environments.
  
• Troubleshooting: Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues.
  
• Security: Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  
• Collaboration: Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Experience: Proven hands-on network engineering experience, including experience with cloud platforms.
  
• Skills: Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS), solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model, hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.
  
• Certifications: CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued), certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in configuring and installing network devices and services for on-premises and cloud environments.
  
• Experience with network performance monitoring and optimization across hybrid environments.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
