Hey!! Update Your CV Like a Pro. HERE are Tips from an Experienced Recruiter
Product Designer at Clive Alliance, Remote (Nigeria)
We’re hiring a UI/UX Designer who blends creative flair with design systems thinking. This role is perfect for someone who doesn’t just push pixels but builds experiences, someone who can shape intuitive, beautiful interfaces grounded in user empathy and product goals.
You’ll work closely with our product, engineering, and customer teams to bring clarity to complex user flows across our core products, Juno (B2B wallets + API infrastructure) and Skypay (automated payment flows). You’ll lead product discovery, design end-to-end flows, and proactively spot UX gaps before users do.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end product design process — from user research and wireframes to final UI and usability testing
- Create pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive designs using Figma (or similar tools)
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth design-to-dev handoffs and high-fidelity implementations
- Proactively test our live products and flag UX inconsistencies or improvements
- Develop and maintain design systems that scale across platforms
- Create user flows, interactive prototypes, and journey maps that align with product goals
- Translate user feedback and analytics into actionable design changes
- Balance speed and design excellence in fast-paced sprints
Tools You’ll Use
- Figma (Design systems, auto-layouts, prototyping)
- Whimsical or FigJam (User flows, brainstorming)
- Notion (Documentation, specs)
- Slack, Linear, and Loom (for async collaboration)
- Hotjar, Google Analytics, and session recordings (for UX testing and feedback loops)
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web and mobile design work
- Deep understanding of design principles (layout, hierarchy, color, typography)
- Experience working with engineers in agile, remote-first environments
- Ability to work autonomously and give/receive feedback constructively
- Eye for UX detail, from button states to accessibility to empty states
- Bonus: experience with developer tools, fintech products, or API interfaces
What Success Looks Like
- Smooth, beautiful user experiences delivered on time
- Clear and usable design documentation shared with the team
- Measurable improvements to user flows, onboarding, or engagement
- High implementation accuracy of your designs
- Proactive identification of UX issues before users flag them
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
You’ll be asked to answer these questions when you apply:
- Briefly talk about something you’ve designed that you’re genuinely proud of. Why does it matter? Include the portfolio link (Behance, Dribble, Figma etc).
- Pick a software product you think has bad UX but decent traction. Tell us 2 specific design changes that would give it ‘taste’ without breaking what’s already working. Explain why each change matters to the end user’s daily life.
- Tell us about a time you spotted a product problem at work nobody asked you to solve, fixed it without permission, and measured the impact. What was the before/after? If you’ve never done this, why not?
- LinkedIn URL
- What are your monthly salary expectations (Naira)
