Product Designer

We seek a problem solver with a keen eye for visual quality, someone who can grasp complex concepts and tailor solutions to users’ needs.

As we scale Fincra’s design operations, you will work cross-functionally with our Products and Engineering teams. Your work will be crucial in how our products evolve, from conducting user research, prototyping to shipping interfaces with the best design standard

What You’ll Be Expected To Do At Fincra

• Work with the Product team to design highly usable payment flows.
• Create low and high-fidelity mockups and drive complete handoffs to engineering
• Create prototypes with Figma and present your thought process to stakeholders
• Conduct user research and usability testing remotely
• Maintain a library of design components in a style guide & eventually a design system.
• Set a high standard for design and contribute to nurturing a world-class design team.

What We Look for In You

• 4+ years of experience as a Product designer in a B2B or B2C with proven experience in all phases of the design process including; user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
• You are curious & earnest enough to work in a fast paced environment. Fintech experience is a plus but not required.
• A portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve problems with aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
• A craftsperson, passionate about typography, iconography, shadows, spacing, color theory, grids and layouts. You have an appreciation for other forms of design.
• An advanced user of Figma, using auto-layout & variants to organize files. You try to clean up your layers.
• You have an eye for details & you like to sweat out the details to ensure design is consistent. Your prototypes provide the right context for engineers.

Keep up to date with trends in the design and fintech industry.

• An excellent collaborator and communicator, able to persuade around design concepts

Provide assistance to product engineers when needed.
