About You
You love chess and Chess.com. You use our site and mobile apps and the many features we have built for the chess community. You have ideas on how to get the chess community more familiar with all that Chess.com offers. You’re and outstanding communicator and results-oriented problem-solver. You thrive managing multiple projects and are comfortable taking initiatives from ideation to execution. You’re comfortable working both async and remotely.
What you’ll do
- Cross-promote our features within our product ecosystem
- Work with our events, content, and community teams to get our products and features out to our fans
- Use our suite of CRM, newsletter, notifications, banners, and other outlets to message members
- Assess and profile the target audience, using their needs, motivations, and characteristics to help to inform and guide the Product team
- Analyze data, conduct user testing, and personally test features to generate hypotheses on how to improve feature performance.
- Create experiment plans and work with design and development team members to execute A/B tests.
- Stay on top of our product roadmap and what is coming in the future, and what is being launched, and communicate that internally and externally
Preferred Skills
- Very familiar with the Chess.com platform and community
- UX and design oriented (ability to make mockups and product wireframes, not final designs)
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills working in a fully distributed team
- Sense of ownership and responsibility
