Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate team member who has experience in leading marketing and can drive our marketing goals from 0 → 1. As our Product Marketing Manager, you will contribute significantly to helping get Fidia in the hands of millions of creators across Africa. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be the go-to expert on all of our digital acquisitions. This includes paid social (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.), online video, and SEO. You’ll work closely with our team in identifying segments of creators and you’ll deliver on direct response goals. You’ll start and scale our marketing programs amongst an ambitious and growing team, owning both the strategy and execution. You’ll help us devise cross-channel campaigns and help drive advancement in our analytics capabilities. You’ll also help build a strong and scalable marketing team as we progress.
What you’ll be doing
– Create and manage our marketing strategy – including identifying channels, launching tests, partnering with regional teams, and much more.
– Create, deploy, and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple creator platforms.
– Manage and execute our targeting strategy across platforms.
– Report on effectiveness of paid media campaigns, including creative learnings.
– Develop plans and forecasts for paid acquisition programs, enabling ROI optimization.
– Track and understand competing product offerings and incorporate that understanding in articulating product and value differentiation.
– Creating effective messaging, tools, and materials and enabling go-to-market.
– Lead strategy and development of content for blog, newsletters, YouTube, help center articles, podcasts, and more.
– Manage relationships with creators and their representatives.
– Build out programs that drive the adoption of Fidia in the creator community.
– Find new strategic platform partnership opportunities.
– Solicit, organize, and contextualize product feedback from creators.
– Pitch new ideas, and amplify content and social concepts to propel brand awareness while representing the Fidia voice, and staying consistent with current trends and media opportunities.
– Collaborate with other team members.
Who We’re Looking For
– 3-5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth, Marketing, or a similar role.
– A passion for the creator economy and experience working directly with creators and creator monetization tools.
– Experience in the payments/fintech ecosystem.
– Deep understanding of branded content and digital advertising.
– Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills; data-driven and strong analytical skills.
– Understanding of key acquisition channels: Social, SEM, Social/Display Ads, Events, webinars.
– A team player who is accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented.
– Good at data analysis and willing to solve problems.
– Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
– Enjoys all aspects of building a product from scratch. You love talking to customers just as much as making technical decisions.
– Ability to prioritize between short-term demands and long-term needs.
Nice to have’s
– Experience with creating content for blogs, YouTube/podcasts.
– Engage SEO best practices to increase traffic to the Fidia website.
– Experience in building an online community and the challenges that come with it.
– Additional marketing experience in branding, media, partnerships, or communications.
What does this job pay?
NGN400,000 per month.
