Project Manager at Softermii, Remote (Global)

We want to move from a regular outsourcing business to an ecosystem of outsourcing, education and product development companies.

Over the years, we have arrived at a highly personalized working model with transparent workflows. This model allows us to create software products that meet our clients’ goals with precision.

Projects:

  • Upcoming projects (AI-powered projects);
  • Geospatial intelligence platform with automated georeferencing;
  • Outstaff projects.

Your responsibilities on the project will be:

  • Handle projects within budget/scope/time/quality constraints;
  • Provide client and internal reporting for main project KPIs;
  • Make sure estimates take into account risks and contain the appropriate contingency;
  • Assist in resourcing decisions (who can be taken to work on the project, etc.);
  • Ensure your knowledge of project management is kept up to date and relevant by networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources, attending meet-ups, etc.;
  • Efficiently manage your workload;
  • Assist in critical support issues where your experience is required;
  • Share knowledge, insights, best practice and ideas;
  • Contribute regularly to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements in order to ensure maximum efficiency across the company.

You can be part of the following team:

  • Delivery Manager, 2 PM, project’s team

Our requirements to you:

  • 1+ year of commercial experience for the position Project Manager in outsourcing/outstaffing company;
  • Advanced English level;
  • Proven experience with project management methodologies, preferably Agile, for managing projects and adapting to changing priorities;
  • Understanding of web development best practices, quality assurance processes, and bug-fixing methodologies;
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to manage client expectations, address concerns and facilitate communication between all parties;
  • Skill to say “No” to clients is must have;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to assess the current state of the project, identify root causes of issues, and develop solutions;
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks that could further derail the project;
  • Experience in project crisis management, salvage or turnaround situations;

 Good theoretical and junior practical knowledge:

  • Scrum;
  • Kanban;
  • Estimation techniques;
  • Budget Management;
  • Timeline Management;
  • Scope Management;
  • Progress Tracking;
  • Staff Management;
  • Client Management;
  • Change Management;
  • Risk management.

It would be cool if you have:

  • Testing theory;
  • Deployment Management knowledge;
  • Pre-sales experience.
