Finance Manager at Softermii, Remote (Global)

We want to move from a regular outsourcing business to an ecosystem of outsourcing, education, and product development companies.

Over the years, we have arrived at a highly personalized working model with transparent workflows. This model allows us to create software products that meet our clients’ goals with precision.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Administration and execution of payroll functions for the company, including bonuses, overtime, vacations, deductions, etc.
  • Manage time tracking cycles – open and close.
  • Track and process timesheets of company employees weekly to form an Operations report and provide visibility of PNL weekly.
  • Calculate payroll with different conditions related to payment methods such as Wise, Payoneer, Individual Entrepreneur, EUR, and USD CCY.
  • Process transactions via Wise, Payoneer.
  • Upwork channel tracking – payments and documents at QuickBooks.
  • Automatic email notifications with payroll calculation for employees.
  • Product inputs for Banks to issue payments (subscription payment, etc.)
  • Payment method holder to support Equipment purchase, gifts, etc.
  • Support questions of calculated payroll from employees, check and fix it immediately.
  • Company – debit/credit balance tracking via QuickBooks tool, including reporting and improvement of the current set-up.
  • Own and manage QuickBooks categories structure
  • Invoice creation and issue to the client
  • Transactions tracking, Payment tracking and applying to invoice.
  • Unapplied cash tracking
  • Expense categories tracking and supervising
  • Monthly Benchmark tracking of Company expenses against the plan – company PNL tracking on a monthly basis.
  • Track and own finance email account – for invoice receiving, approval and payment processing

Our requirements of you:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Finance Manager at an outsource IT company;
  • Knowledge of how to assemble and manage PNL;
  • Proficient in comprehending all aspects of Profit and Loss statements and departmental expenditures;
  • Experience working with QuickBooks Online and managing company finance on this level;
  • Experience in the calculation of compensation for employees on a monthly basis;
  • ​​Ability to balance workload and support peak days demand – reporting and invoicing to client (end of a month), internal compensation calculation (start of a month), overtimes and bonuses (15-20 of a month);
  • Upper intermediate – English level
