Python Developer at G2i, Remote (Global)

We’re looking for a strong Python Engineer with hands-on experience building AI-powered chat systems that work with large datasets and LLMs (Large Language Models) in production environments.

This is an engineering-heavy role where technical execution is the main bottleneck — not experimentation or research. You should understand how to reliably integrate LLMs into real-world systems, and experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI chat systems powered by LLMs.
• Build and optimize backend infrastructure to support chat experiences at scale.
• Integrate large datasets into the chat experience using techniques such as RAG.
• Ensure reliable, performant, and scalable LLM-based interactions in production.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to refine chat UX and system behavior.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience building LLM-based chat applications.
• Deep understanding of LLM integration, prompt handling, and token efficiency in production use.
• Experience working with large datasets to improve the relevance and accuracy of AI responses.
• Ability to own technical projects end-to-end, from architecture to deployment.

 Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Familiarity with tools like LangChain, Haystack, Vector DBs (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone).
• Knowledge of deployment and scaling best practices for LLM services in the cloud.
• Experience with observability, evaluation frameworks, and latency optimization in AI systems.
