Job Title: Recruitment Assistant

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Miami Time

Job Description

As an Outbound Call Support Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind our client’s driver recruitment efforts. This role offers a unique blend of customer service, recruitment, and logistics expertise. You’ll use your excellent communication skills to connect with potential drivers, guiding them through the application and onboarding process. Your attention to detail and organizational prowess will ensure that only the best candidates join our client’s team, contributing directly to the company’s growth and success in the competitive transportation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate driver applications from various job platforms
  • Conduct phone interviews with potential drivers, assessing their qualifications and fit
  • Guide successful applicants through the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documents are collected
  • Verify applicant information and assist with background checks and drug test coordination
  • Maintain regular communication with applicants, providing updates and addressing inquiries
  • Prepare and forward completed applicant files to the hiring manager for final review
  • Ensure applicants meet state-required insurance coverage for their vehicles
  • Offer guidance on insurance options and facilitate company-provided insurance onboarding when applicable
  • Collaborate with the hiring team to streamline the recruitment process and improve efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service, recruitment, or a related field
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with a talent for multitasking and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews and gather detailed information
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and MVR background checks is a plus but not required
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the growth of a dynamic logistics operation
